Adult Connection - Register
The Adult Connection is a great way to start meeting new friends at Horizons and to have an avenue to grow spiritually.
This weekly connection opportunity meets every Thursday evening, excluding holidays.
At 6:00 pm people arrive and share a meal together until 6:55pm. After dinner everyone breaks into one of the spiritual growth class options starting at 7:00PM.
**To get an accurate head count for food, we would appreciate you registering the first time you plan to participate. It is not necessary to register more than once.

Truth Project Summary (September 25 - January 22) This class is open any week - In a recent study, the Barna Research Group revealed a stunning statistic that continues to reverberate throughout the evangelical world. Only 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview.
Because of this, today's believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation. To counter this slide within the body of Christ, we are launching one of the most ambitious and powerful projects in the history of our ministry—Focus on the Family's The Truth Project.
The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. We believe this one project represents the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ, as we expect that thousands will be transformed by this curriculum. Led by Todd and Jodi LaVine, the "Life Series" will start Thursday, January 29 from 7:00PM – 9:00PM and will run weekly for 10 weeks. Cost of the class is $10.00 to cover the workbook.
Extreme Marriage Makeover (January 29 – March 12) This class closes after week 2 - How do you have a great marriage? How do you stay deeply and wildly in love with your spouse? What do you do if you “fall out of love” with your spouse? How do you survive conflict? Since my spouse is obviously from another planet, how the heck am I supposed to understand what they want? Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions?
No one said marriage would be easy, but we’ll explore the answers to these questions and more. Meet with us for 6 sessions and see for yourself. Led by Dean Hanson, this class will start Thursday, January 29 from 7:00PM – 8:30PM. The cost of this class is FREE.
